Robin Thicke nasce nel 1977 a Los Angeles, figlio d’arte, un po’ sfortunato con le sue meravigliose canzoni … Inizia ad interessarsi alla musica fin da piccolo, grazie all’ascolto dei suoi idoli Marvin Gaye e Steve Wonder … autodidatta inizia a strimpellare [molto bene a dire il vero] il pianoforte e la chitarra che diventa il suo strumento primario per scrivere dell’ottima musica. Debutta con “Cherry Blue Skies”. Nel 2003 il suo l’album viene ripubblicato con l’aggiunta di due brani e reintitolato “A Beautiful World” contenente il singolo “When I Get You Alone” che contiene un campionamento della Sinfonia n°5 di Beethoven. Sfortuna, dicevo, per questioni di Marketing discografico. Note delicate, armonie quasi voluttuose nel brano che vi farò ascoltare “Lost Without You” …. E si sa …. non tutta la buona musica ha subito un impatto con il pubblico. Buon ascolto e sognate…..
